The second evening of the Piatra-Neamt Piano Festival began with a two-handed piano concert held by pianists Anna Dmytrenko and Ksenia Fedoruk. The two artists of Ukrainian nationality came in front of the audience with a repertoire whose theme was dance. The concert, full of energy, featured selections from Johannes Brahms, Antonin Dvorak, Camille Saint-Saens, Igor Stravinsky and a composition by the young pianist Pierre Audiger.
After the jubilant intensity of the dance, the public was invited to visually revive, for one hour, in a painting exhibition proposed by three plastic artists from Piatra-Neamț: Mihaela Surugiu, Ioana Raluca Brăduleț and Andrei Nuțu.
The evening ended with the Jazzycall concert, where the spectators witnessed the merging of Luiza Zan's majestic voice with the masterful piano interpretation of Lithuanian Petras Geniušas.
One of the pieces present in last night's program, "Double Concert for Violin and Orchestra" (Johann S. Bach), opened with a flight in which the violins respond alert and alternate the melodic lines, becoming inseparable, the two artists blending the discourses music only with the help of the voice and the piano The program also included, among others, a selection from "Studies for the piano" (Philip Glass), ending with the famous song "My baby just cares for me".
